Work in Progress: Early Thesis Prototype

My thesis project will be an app, created in Unity, to help learners acquire and use kanji, the Japanese characters.  Kanji are complex and generally require a huge amount of rote memorization.  While my app won’t necessarily make the memorization go away, it should help streamline the process, provide more effective practice, and motivate the user.

Here is a rough prototype made with Unity.  At time of writing, this prototype is somewhat outdated, so the expanded features will be shown in another blog post or later on my portfolio.
